Looking for a way to preserve and increase the nutritional value of your raw summer produce? Join Chef Michael from Stotler’s Home Cooking as he kicks off our Fermentation Series at Courthouse Creek Cider in Scott’s Addition!
Start the evening with Eric Cioffi, owner and Cidermaker, as he discusses cider and fermentation all while enjoying a cold glass of rustic cider and small paired bites. Then, sit back and enjoy Chef Michael’s demonstration on fermentation of watermelon rinds and cucumbers. Leave with creative recipes to try at home, fermentation inspiration, and a mason jar filled with one of the demonstrated fermented foods of your choice! Space is limited, so sign up today!

Fun Facts:
1. Ancient Chinese people are believed to have fermented the first alcoholic beverage
2. In addition to the ramped up vitamins and minerals, fermented vegetables carry friendly bacteria and live enzymes. These cultures are beneficial to both your digestive and nervous system while protecting our bodies from harmful bacteria and other toxic substances.
