𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱: Pork and pasilla served over polenta! 🫑🧅 Pork and Pasilla over polenta is a dish Liza created by fusing her Sicilian roots with her experiences growing up in California—from age 12 through adulthood. One afternoon in the kitchen, she had a pork shoulder, fresh pasilla peppers and tomatoes from her garden, garlic, onions, and a whole lot of time for a slow, slow simmer. This dish is rich, slightly smokey, and absolutely delicious. It's served over creamy polenta, another Italian staple (and our son Diego's favorite)! Enjoy this family favorite with a glass of 1581, our first estate cider.
