About Cook County Bluegrass:
Cook County Bluegrass met by chance at Legend Brewing Co. at the Sunday Bluegrass Jam in 1998. Tony Cook, guitar and Will Perkinson, mandolin, knew right away that they had something. Their first CD “Blue Sky Town”, released in 2000 is a combination of classics and first rate originals. “Flyin” Brian Sulser, bass, joined CCB in 2007 and is well known in Richmond from bluegrass to jazz. These guys can pic’ and the three part harmonies make it great. This is not your grandfather’s bluegrass.
